As soon as Agastya's gaze fell on Sitara, his eyes turned red with anger.
At this moment, the trembling Sitara in his arms was crying badly. Her small body was shivering with fear.
On the other side, Raghuveer suddenly shouted angrily, "Hey girl! Get away from that man!"
Then he looked at his man and roared, "Kalia! How did she get out? Go, lock her back in that room!"
Hearing this, Sitara got scared.
She immediately clutched Agastya's shirt tightly and clung to him even more.
She started shaking her head in refusal, "No, no."
Hearing her trembling voice, Agastya's eyes had turned completely red.
Just then, Kalia was about to step forward when Agastya, without even looking at him, said in an extremely cold voice,
"Stop right there.
His voice was so dangerous that Kalia's feet froze right there. The entire room fell silent instantly. Kalia started looking at Raghuveer in fear.
Meanwhile, Agastya gently lifted Sitara in his arms and made her sit on his lap.
Her small hands were still clutching Agastya's shirt out of fear.
Agastya looked closely at her face for the first time. Her swollen eyes, tear marks on her cheeks, trembling lips, and blood flowing from her foot.
Seeing which, a dangerous silence descended in his eyes. Wiping her tears in an extremely soft voice, he said, "baccha, you–"
But before he could finish, Sitara suddenly hugged him.
Crying badly, she said, "Agastya, these people are very bad. Take me away from here with you."
Saying this, her voice was breaking into sobs.
Crying, she continued, "These people will sell me."
Hearing her words, every man present clearly saw that the color in Agastya's eyes seemed to have deepened. Meanwhile, Raghuveer also understood that this girl was related to Agastya, which made his throat dry with fear as well.
His fingers were slowly caressing Sitara's back.
Meanwhile, Raghuveer, still trying to compose himself, said angrily,
"Agastya, this is a matter between us. Give that girl back to me."
Hearing this, Agastya slowly raised his head and looked straight at Raghuveer for the first time.
His single glance seemed to drop the temperature of the entire room.
In an extremely calm voice, he said, "Did you touch her?"
Saying this, his voice was low, but it carried such terror that many people's breaths stopped.
Raghuveer, trying to appear strong, said, "This is my business, you know that."
At his words, Agastya held Sitara more securely in his arms and said, "You made a mistake."
His eyes had now become completely dangerous. And Rajveer understood that a lot of blood was about to be shed here today.
Raghuveer had clearly felt the dangerous silence descending in Agastya's eyes. But still, leaning back in his chair, he laughed.
Releasing cigar smoke into the air, he said, "Anyway, I want to sell her."
Then his gaze fell on Sitara sitting in Agastya's lap.
Seeing which, he said with a filthy smile, "If you want to buy her, then say so."
Hearing his words, the entire room fell silent.
Blood straight rose in Agastya's eyes. Rajveer and his men clearly understood what was about to happen. He had become so calm now that his calmness itself was spreading fear among the men around him.
Sitara couldn't understand anything. But the way Raghuveer was looking at her, she was hiding her face in Agastya's chest out of fear.
She said in a trembling voice, "Agastya, I don't want to go to them."
Agastya gently stroked her head and said, "Nothing will happen to you, child."
Then he raised his gaze and, looking at Raghuveer, said in an extremely slow voice, "You are putting a price on her."
At his words, Raghuveer laughed. Still laughing, he said, "In this world, everything is for sale, Agastya. Just the price has to be right."
Hearing his words, a crooked smile appeared on Agastya's lips. But with eyes as cold as ice, he replied, "Wrong."
Then, holding Sitara more securely in his arms, he said,
"Some things aren't bought. The people connected to them are erased."
Hearing this, Raghuveer's smile faded slightly.
But still, he said arrogantly, "Look, Agastya, my men are here. This is my territory. Don't try to be a hero too much."
Hearing this, a dangerous smile appeared on Agastya's lips.
He said, "Who wants to be a hero, Bhatia. I'm the villain."
He had said this in such a dangerous manner that Raghuveer realized the threat to himself. Meanwhile, Rajveer got the signal about what to do next.
Before Raghuveer could do anything, the very next moment, firing started there. The entire warehouse echoed with the sound of guns. Agastya's men had killed everyone outside the warehouse within seconds.
Hearing so much firing, Sitara had fainted in his arms.
Only a few of Raghuveer's men were left alive, who were inside. But those outside were already dead.
Those who were alive had guns pointed at them by Agastya's men.
Raghuveer looked at Agastya and said fearfully, "Look, Agastya, you can't do this to me. This is my business, so what's my fault in it?"
At his words, Rajveer said with a crooked smile, "The fault is, Raghuveer, that you put a price on a child in front of Boss."
Hearing this, Raghuveer started looking at Agastya in fear. He knew about Agastya — how powerful he was.
Meanwhile, Agastya slowly stood up with Sitara in his arms.
In an extremely calm voice, he said, "You considered her a commodity."
Saying this, his eyes narrowed dangerously.
He continued, "Now I will show you how cheap death is. You wanted to put a price on this girl. This girl."
Seeing the dangerous silence descending in Agastya's eyes, all of Raghuveer's pride shattered in an instant.
Trembling, he got up from his chair and the very next moment fell at Agastya's feet.
He begged in fear, "Okay! Okay, Agastya! Take her! You don't need to pay any price for her!"
His trembling voice echoed through the entire warehouse. Hearing this, Agastya's blood boiled even more from within. Now, only death was visible in his eyes.
In an extremely cold voice, he said, "Fine. I'm taking her."
Hearing this, Raghuveer breathed a sigh of relief. He thought perhaps Agastya would let him go.
He started getting up slowly. But the very next moment, the knife in Agastya's hand went straight through Raghuveer's neck. Raghuveer's painful scream got stuck in his throat. And his eyes remained wide open in fear. The very next moment, a fountain of blood gushed from his neck.
Blood splattered straight onto Agastya's face. And a few drops also fell on the unconscious Sitara's face in his arms.
Raghuveer's body writhed and fell down. His eyes remained wide open. At this moment, the entire warehouse fell silent for a moment.
Meanwhile, the remaining men started backing away in fear. But before they could escape, Agastya's men opened fire on all of them.
Within seconds, the entire warehouse was filled with the sound of bullets and screams. Then slowly, everything fell silent. Now, only dead bodies lay there. Blood was spread all around.
Outside the warehouse, silence prevailed. The echoes of the dying screams from inside had completely faded. Bloodstains had spread across Agastya's white shirt. There were also splatters of blood on his face. But apart from the unconscious Sitara in his arms, he cared about no one else.
Rajveer said softly, "Boss, let's leave from here. The media will arrive soon."
Without saying anything, Agastya started walking toward his car. Sitara was so broken in his arms, as if even after finding support, she continued to break. Blood was dripping from her injured foot, her face had turned pale, and her lips were dry.
Agastya made her sit on the back seat of the car, then sat beside her himself. Rajveer sat on the driver's seat and the car picked up speed.
Throughout the journey, Agastya kept Sitara leaning toward him. His fingers were gently stroking her hair. It seemed as if he was mending something broken. For the first time, there was some softness in his cold eyes. Perhaps because this child was completely innocent, and perhaps also because this child had taken his support without any hesitation.
Rajvansh Mansion.
As the car stopped inside, all the guards became alert. Rajveer immediately signaled security not to let anyone inside. Agastya picked up Sitara and slowly carried her inside.
He laid her down in the room adjacent to his bedroom. That room, which had never been used by anyone. But today, on its soft sheets, a little girl lay.
Agastya took out the first-aid box. He very gently opened the bandage on Sitara's foot, whose wound was deep and had now become infected. Even in her unconscious state, Sitara groaned in pain.
Agastya applied antiseptic. His hands worked with the same precision with which he eliminated enemies. The only difference was – here, his hands were trembling. Perhaps for the first time, he wasn't causing someone pain, but healing someone's pain.
After bandaging, he placed his hand on her forehead. She had a very high fever. He called out to Rajveer, "Call the doctor. Now."
Hearing this, Rajveer immediately called, but thought to himself, Why is Boss being so protective of this child? He's never shown such urgency for anyone. This child is not ordinary. Perhaps Boss knows her from before.
About an hour later.
The doctor examined Sitara, gave medicines, and said, "The fever will take some time to subside. The wound on the foot is deep, but there's no danger now. Just needs two to three days of rest."
At his words, Agastya nodded. As soon as the doctor left, he pulled up a chair and sat near Sitara. Now there were no blood splatters on his face. He had cleaned those splatters from himself and from Sitara. But the coldness in his eyes was still the same – it just disappeared whenever he looked at Sitara.
After some time, Sitara suddenly woke up from her unconsciousness and screamed, "No, don't sell me, no!"
Agastya, who had gone to the balcony to attend a call, heard Sitara's frightened voice and quickly came inside, immediately holding her hand.
Very softly, he said, "Oh no, child. No one will sell you. You are in Rajvansh Mansion. I'm Agastya. Remember?"
Hearing this, Sitara immediately hugged him and, hiding her face in his chest, started breathing rapidly. She had started crying uncontrollably.
Seeing her cry so much, Agastya remained silent. He let her cry. Because he knew – sometimes crying is the biggest cure. He started stroking her hair.
After some time, Sitara's sobs had subsided slightly. She wiped her eyes and looked at Agastya. There was still fear in her eyes, but along with it, a great helplessness as well.
In a trembling voice, she said, "Those people wanted to sell me. Uncle had handed me over to them."
Hearing which, Agastya's jaw clenched. But he said nothing.
Sitara continued, crying innocently, "It's been two weeks since my mom and dad passed away, and after they left, uncle came to live in their house. And he tries to do very wrong things to me."
Saying this, her voice broke. She closed her eyes, as if she didn't want to see that picture again.
Her small fingers had tightened on Agastya's shirt as she said all this. She said, "I thought I was alone. That I had no one in this whole world."
Agastya was still silent. He was just listening to Sitara. But she continued, "But you saved me again, Agastya."
She said innocently, "Can I stay with you?"
Hearing this, Agastya held her even tighter in his arms.
He said, "You won't go anywhere now. No one can touch you now. From today, I am your everything."
Saying this, he was looking straight ahead without any expression, stroking her hair.
Agastya pulled her away from himself, wiped her tears, and said, "You are not alone anymore. I won't let anyone even come near you."
Rajveer, standing outside the door, was watching all this. He thought to himself, The words that shouldn't have been said – this child has said them all. From tomorrow morning, this child will be in Agastya's world.
